Have Google and Amazon finally ended their annoying squabbles? Perhaps not entirely. But this is a good start. It’s a Festivus miracle. Both models of Google’s Chromecast — the brilliant little dongle that makes it super easy (and pretty darn inexpensive) to stream just about anything from a phone to a television — are once again listed at Amazon. This follows many months in online retail purgatory as Amazon and Google have continued their little feud, as competitors sometimes are wont to do. If for some reason you’ve missed what all the fuss is about, it’s this: The Chromecast protocol lets you take a video from, say, YouTube or Chrome or any supported app on Android or iOS or in a desktop instance of Chrome and stream it to your TV. The dongle actually does all the work — your phone just points it in the right direction. And it’s a pretty low-cost endeavor, too. The latest model of Chromecast is just $35 and tops out at 1080p resolution. (Though it can now handle 60 frames per second, so that’s a thing.) The $69 Chromecast Ultra takes things up to 4K resolution and is the one we recommend you buy if you want to be a little more future-proofed. Does this all mean that Google and Amazon have kissed and made up? We’ll see. Amazon Fire TV still doesn’t have native support for YouTube, which in addition to being more than a little ridiculous is still a pretty big black mark on it as a streaming platform. via Tumblr You can once again buy a Chromecast on Amazon Remote access to a desktop is one of the most niche power-user features out there. However, it is perfectly doable on an Android device. There are two basic ways to do it. Users can remote into their Android device from a computer. We covered that functionality in our best screen mirroring apps for Android list. This list focuses more on accessing your desktop computer from your Android device. There are a bunch of apps that boast remote access as a feature. However, only some of them are actually good. Here are the best remote desktop apps for Android!
Give your PC more functionality with these apps!
AnyDesk is a serviceable option in the remote desktop space on Android. It works like any other remote desktop app. You connect your phone to your computer and then use your computer from your phone. It worked pretty well in our testing and it uses a simple UI. There weren’t any real issues with it. The app is free for personal use. The prices we listed are for commercial use mostly. It definitely has its flaws, but we also put apps in lists for a reason. Give it a try and see if you like it. Worst case, you don’t and have four other options. VNC Viewer and this app competed for the fifth slot on this list so it’s right up there as well.

Chrome Remote Desktop is one of the most popular remote desktop apps. Users install the app from the Chrome Web Store on their computer and then this app from Google Play. From there, follow the installation instructions and you should be able to connect. The app worked most of the time in our testing. It’s quicker and simpler than many of the other options, including TeamViewer. However, it’s also been two years since Chrome Remote Desktop saw an update as of the writing of this article. We recommend trying this one first, but don’t be shocked if it’s not a flawless performance.

Microsoft Remote Desktop is arguably Chrome Remote Desktop’s biggest free competitor. It works about the same way. You install the client on your computer and this app on your phone. The two should let your devices connect to one another. The positive part is you not needing a Google Chrome installation for this one to work on Windows devices. The bad news is the performance is about the same so you’re not really getting a better product. In any case, it’s a solid option and a good free alternative to Chrome Remote Desktop.

Splashtop is a less popular, but still fairly successful remote desktop app. It works like the others with dual apps on your computer and Android device. You can access anything on your computer from your phone on your local network. You can add access from anywhere for $5 per month or $16.99 per year. This lets you access your device on any network, including any WiFi network or mobile data. The app also lets you access your webcam to check up on your home without too much trouble. It worked as well as Chrome and Microsoft did in our testing.
TeamViewer is kind of the obvious choice for remote desktop apps. It gives remote access to your computer from your Android device. It’s a little bit more complicated of a setup, but it works just as well as one would expect. It also includes features like file transfers in both directions, encryption, and real-time sound and HD video transmission. There are features included for helping, say, a friend or coworker. However, it works perfectly fine for just goofing around on your computer as well. The app is entirely free for personal use. Those who use it for business need a subscription.

The 9-to-5 working hours and that lonely cubicle constantly remind you of the rat race you’re dragging through. You keep getting exhausted and the cacophony of the white noise keeps deafening you. Is there an end to such monotony? An escape that makes you earn from what you’re passionate about? No? Yes? What’s it going to be? Most people quit their jobs when they are off to start a new business. And as sound as owning a business seems, it is way far from the reality. It’s only a matter of time that a general business takes time to grow and develop its roots. No business was ever too great when it started. However, the business landscape is changing faster than the speed of light and businesses are approaching a more modern mode of selling their products – especially in Pakistan. No matter where you are, you can ditch the constraints of time and space. And speaking of time and space, people in Pakistan are pumped up with the wonders new businesses can do for them. Most new-age entrepreneurs and business people are shifting their skills and are adapting to the rapid market pace, regardless of their niche. But doesn’t every business need some capital to begin with? Yes, it does, but gladly, we have the internet to count on, where starting any business is almost effortless yet efficient. With the right skills and tools at hand, anyone can go on starting their business under 100K. Without further ado, let’s begin. 1. Set Up a Business WebsiteA website is a must for businesses these days. It showcases your business on a global front. It isn’t as hard as it used to be a decade ago. Making a website is really convenient these days; there are free as well as paid options available for anyone who’s either using the website for the fun of it or for seriously running their business. However, as far as the freebies are concerned, they don’t come with that custom domain and the features and tools are also limited. On the contrary, if you’re using a website maker such as WordPress or Wix, you can choose from the various premium plans that are meant to fit your business needs. For instance, down below is the shot of Wix plans from the least to the maximum range. After you get a plan that’s suitable for you, the next thing you need is the design, content, and media. Let’s be honest; if you need to market your business, you need to pay close attention to the content you will upload. From high-resolution images to custom videos, the costs of web design might vary from customer to customer, depending mainly on the type of features they want.
On a relative note, make sure you upload content that is relevant to your business. The visitors on your website must share a sense of belonging with you, which is what you can achieve by delivering content that is unique and engaging.
So, the total investment for website development (including the design and content) must fall between 30,000 to 50,000 PKR. 2. Brand Your Business
No matter where you run your business from, you need to make sure that you have your business branded. Why? Because your business is actually your brand. It’s much more than how your business appears to yourself and your audience and wherever your brand reaches. Branding your business consists of 3 main stages: Branding Strategies, Brand Identity, and Brand Guidelines.
Branding strategies require strenuous thinking skills and revolve around who, where, when, what, why, and how – related to your business. It is actually the backbone of your enterprise and prepares it to establish your place in the market. Next comes the brand identity. It should run in a continuance of the branding strategies that are meant to tell your story. For that reason, your brand should deliver that visual appeal and enhance the overall brand story. Of all the most important brand identity designs, your logo tops the list with some massive impact. Like the website, it’s easy to fetch a logo, but then again, a professional logo costs more than the one that’s free. Last but not least in the brand category; the final touchdown is the brand guidelines that are used to nail down the final impacts of the strategies and identity features in coherence with each other. There are many companies in Pakistan that offer full-fledged branding solutions, such as Boundless Technologies, Adchrome Advertising, and Brand Impact. But if you’re looking for a cost-effective DIY option, Logo Design offers you the free logos for your business. If you need high-resolution designs, they’re available for a price of just $39.
All in all, the total estimates for complete branding solutions can cost you from 7,000 PKR to 25,000 PKR. The costs may vary depending on the additional features you’d like to incorporate.
3. Marketing and Promotion
So, you’ve come across branding and now it’s time to introduce your brand in the market and promote it. It is a way to enhance your presence on the global web. Promotion is a way of communication from one brand to its audience. Like every other step, marketing also requires some major promotion tools. The three basic types are:
4. AdvertisingThe ads and banners we see all around us are the forms of advertisement from various businesses. It takes up the major chunk of a brand’s strategies for propagating its products in the market. For a brand, an advertisement is usually paid for in order to deliver the brand objectives via various media forms. However, the price for the type of advertisement varies in nature of its promotion and the type of business it’s acquired for.
There are several advertising agencies that cater to display ads across various media. A business must determine the type of advertisement suitable for its audience, for instance, there are billboard advertisements, TV ads, print media ads, internet banner ads, and social media ads.
As a business on a budget, you probably need to scour the advertisement options available to you at economical rates such as Google Adwords offers ads on the search network. As for social media ads (Preferably Facebook Ads) as they have a vast reach and cost per click varies.
Here, you gain the advantage to meet a broader target audience, reaching whoq wasn’t possible with the traditional advertising techniques.
5. Sales PromotionSale promotion is used as a tool to drive sales for short-term. These are projected directly at customers and sales. Since advertisement drives the focus towards the purchase, the focus of promotion is the call to action. It’s a way to compel the customers or give them an incentive to buy your products.
So, why do you want to promote your sales? To attract new customers, to enhance the loyalty of existing customers, and to increase sales and product consumption. And as much as there are benefits, there are many ways you can target your customers and drive your sales.
Whether you’re opting to drive the sales via your website or your social media, you can deliver promotional content, such as organize online competitions and polls, offer coupons, discounts, and promotions, and give away free demos and trials.
These promotional offers can be enhanced by using various tools that can cost you as well as be used for free. For designing custom sales posters for free, you can use Canva; if you’re running online polls, you can use free online poll makers like pinpoll or SurveyMonkey; if you’re promoting your product through email marketing, you can use HubSpot CRM ABSOLUTELY FREE. If you’re looking for premium features and upgrades, you can refer to the tools like Zoho Campaigns that offer monthly subscription up to 6000 PKR.
Here’s a pro tip: Always see if the tool plan you choose remains consistent in maintaining your budget, targeting your audience, delivering a competitive response, and serving the tool’s purpose. Your purchase of the plan must reflect your long-term goals.
6. Public RelationsThe main idea that lies behind public relations is that it’s all about contacts and establishing favorable relationships with your customers. This gives rise to the idea of networking.
Networking plays a crucial role in making your startup a proper business. No business – either in Pakistan or outside it – runs without the fuel of networking. To do any business, you need supplies, which will be delivered to you by the vendors. And for that reason, you will probably need to research the market and scour for the suppliers that could offer you the bulk of products at great discounts. And you don’t even have to run from one place to another.
You can find potential vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, exporters, and importers at sites like Daraz.pk and Ali Express to save your expenses and get the best quality product. Amidst all this, most of the networking and making contacts don’t even cost you. Maintain a friendly attitude, pay your suppliers in time, deliver the goods and services in time, and make the most of your time meeting potential clients. At sites like these, you can find any type of material that your business deals in. Pro Tip: Before you order, make sure you are ordering the right kind of product. Preplanning your orders is always a good idea, to begin with. Even in Pakistan, starting a business with around 100,000 PKR in your pocket might seem like an absurd idea. Believe it or not, networking can do wonders for you. Whenever you make customers, ask them to leave reviews and use the power of referrals. These make the foundation of your business. And by getting reviews, your business receives a positive response from new customers and visitors coming across your business profile. ConclusionSo there you have it: A complete business guide on how to start your business with an amount as much as 100K in Pakistan. But the point is that if you have the skill and you know how to sell it, you’ve got a clear path in front of you. It isn’t always about the cash. However, you must remember that there isn’t a single business on earth that did well when it started. It’s all about commitment and determination to be where you want to be. So when are you going to start?

The European Union has fallen behind, but it intends to catch up! (This is a preview – click here to read the entire entry.) Artificial Intelligence: the EU is getting ready syndicated from https://guestspysite.wordpress.com/ via Tumblr Artificial Intelligence: the EU is getting ready The next generation of immersive home theater audio isn’t cheap, but it’s definitely worth it. I can distinctly remember the day I discovered stereo sound. Laying between the floor speakers in our den, I realized that it wasn’t the same sound coming from the left and the right. Second to that discovery was the first time I listened to Guns ‘n’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction with headphones. It was a seismic change in how I understood music. (Also acceptable answer: Anything from the Rolling Stones.) The next major leap in my listening life was when I got my first 5.1 surround sound system. First, everything needs a subwoofer. But having audio coming from behind you changes the experience in all the expected ways. (Pretty sure I wore out my DVD of The Matrix that year.) What’s the summit in home audio? For me it’s been Dolby Atmos. That means a few things. First, it means a pretty major increase in expenditure. I picked up a decent little Vizio sound bar on sale a few years ago, which was a painless (and partially wireless) way to have rear speakers in a large living room. More recently, Vizio offered to send over its awfully named SB36512-F6 sound bar. (To which I shall refer by anything other than its product name.) While it very much looks like what I was using previously — a sound bar in the front, and rear speakers and a subwoofer in the back — it’s a big step up in a couple of ways. First, it’s got Dolby Atmos on board. Second is that it’s $500, which actually isn’t bad for an entry-level Atmos product. Home theaterVizio SB36512-F6Entry-level Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos is one of those things you have to experience to really understand. This sound bar makes it attainable. The Good
The Bad
Welcome to the futureWhat is Dolby Atmos?First, an oversimplified primer. By now you’re no doubt well acquainted with stereophonic sound. That is, slightly different sounds coming from a pair of speakers, to give the impression that there’s movement or that sound is coming from a certain direction. Sounds to the left. Sounds to the right. (And you’re the only bait in town.) Rear speakers add an additional direction to that. Dolby Atmos doesn’t just add another direction — it’s quite literally another dimension in sound. Instead of just firing off sounds in general directions, Dolby Atmos creates sound “objects,” giving sound designers the ability to put specific sounds in specific places. (And that includes the idea of bouncing sound off your ceiling.) Atmos supports up to 34 individual speakers, and up to 128 simultaneous “objects.” So you can get into some serious stuff here. Not everything can take advantage of Dolby Atmos. You’ll need hardware that can handle Atmos — such as this Vizio sound bar we’re reviewing here. And the content also needs to use Dolby Atmos. That’s a feature you’ll want to look for on the box if you’re buying a Blu-Ray disc, or if you’re watching through a streaming service.
The good stuffVizio Dolby Atmos Sound Bar * What I Like*This sound bar is what’s called a 5.1.2 deal. That is there are five speakers up front, one subwoofer, and two rear speakers. In the sound bar itself there are three forward-facing speakers, and a couple that point skyward. Then there are the two rear speakers, which connect (via wires) to the relatively not-huge subwoofer. Those three units connect wirelessly (and effortlessly, I should note) to the sound bar itself. Having had cables strung all over my living room in the past, it’s a huge improvement. All in all it looks and acts like a Vizio sound bar setup — same as what I’ve had for years now. The difference (in addition to just generally being newer, better and more expensive) of course comes into play with Dolby Atmos.
“Room-filling sound” is a phrase that doesn’t actually mean anything, of course. It’s a marketing thing. My Sonos Play:5 fills a room quite nicely. But it’s still just one speaker, good as it may be. (And it is quite good.) It’s just not the same as multiple speakers. This Vizio setup (no, I’m still not going to use that god-awful product designation) absolutely fills a room. Now it does so to different degrees, depending on the audio source. Not all content is created equal. But for the purposes of this “what I like” section, let us stipulate that Dolby Atmos is a thing you want. It is a feature in which you absolutely should invest, should you be the sort who at all cares about audio. Sure, 5.1 surround sound is just fine. And my $200 worth of Vizio sound bar gear has worked great. But Atmos (if you’ll excuse the cliche) truly takes things to a new level. Sounds don’t just come at you from the left and right, and behind you. They’re now above you and diagonal and all over the place. This remains a fairly simple Atmos setup — remember it can technically handle nearly three dozen speakers — but even so movies have a completely new depth to them. Would you notice the difference if you plopped down on my couch and watched a flick but weren’t told that Atmos was a thing? I’d like to think you would. All that said, this also is a perfect capable non-Atmos sound bar. It’s just fine as a Bluetooth target, has Google Chromecast built in — it does all the sound bar stuff that you’d expect, really. The not-so-good stuffVizio Dolby Atmos Sound Bar What I Didn’t Like
We do have to temper our expectations here just a tad. At $500 this is one of the less expensive Atmos setups you can get, and is the least expensive in Vizio’s lineup. (Vizio’s top-shelf offering has an additional five speakers and a greater frequency response across the board. It also costs twice as much.) I’m not a sound snob. I know when something sounds good, and I know when something sounds bad. This sound bar sounds pretty darn good, and I’m not going to let perfect be the enemy of the great.
So my only real gripes about this thing are familiar — same as what I had with my old Vizio sound bar. The included remote control isn’t great. There’s a pretty good chance you’ll almost never need to use it (depending on your home setup), but it’s still pretty disappointing. It’s far from intuitive and isn’t the sort of thing I’d hand off to a loved one without expecting them to run into some trouble at some point. Same goes for the Vizio SmartCast app. It’s functional, but it’s also kind of a mess, full of recommendations for things I don’t want to watch or listen to. Fortunately after the initial setup it’s also not anything I’ve ever had to use. (Though every now and then you’ll still want to peek in there to see if there’s a firmware update for your sound bar.) Vizio 36-inch Dolby Atmos Sound BarShould You Buy It? Yes
4
out of 5 Here’s the most important thing to remember about this sound bar — or any other Atmos-enabled product, really. Not everything you watch will take advantage of Dolby Atmos. And you’re still going to have to go a little out of your way to find something that will.
I can go entire days — probably weeks — without accidentally running into something that uses Dolby Atmos for its audio source. That’s including content on all the major streaming services, both (and especially) live shows, as well as anything through curated services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. That’s also including any time I play music through the sound bar. (Though I would pay real money for some Nine Inch Nails in Dolby Atmos.) That’s not Vizio’s fault, though. It’s still very early days for Dolby Atmos content. So for now we’re going to have to go out of our way a little bit to find it. Look for it on Blu-Ray discs. Look for it in the listings of Netflix and Vudu and Amazon Prime Video. (Pro tip: Also make sure you’re looking at 4K content.) As for me? If I were even fairly serious about movies and audio, I’d go ahead and spring the extra couple hundred bucks for Dolby Atmos support. The difference in the audio experience is worth it. Look at it like an investment. Over the long run, you’ll end up with a more enjoyable, more immersive experience. And with this product — OK, the Vizio SB36512-F6 — you’re getting in on the ground floor at about $500, with relatively easy setup, and without having to worry about running wires all over the room. For me, that’s $500 well-spent.

via Tumblr How to set up Google Photos on Android Best answer: Most people will be best off with the Galaxy Note 9’s base storage of 128GB. It’s already double what most modern phones offer by default, and still has the benefit of being able to expand with a microSD card later. The 512GB model is only for the true diehard Android phones that need to have an extensive collection of media and apps available locally at all times. Amazon: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (128GB) ($900+) Who should get 128GB?The’s Note 9 storage starts at 128GB and will automatically grab a majority of sales because of it. Most people who had a 32 or 64GB phone previously will be extremely happy with the jump up to 128GB of storage by default. The price jump to $900 seems a little steep, but keep in mind that Samsung charges a $50 premium to go from 64 to 128GB on the Galaxy S9+ — so this isn’t that big of a deal if you were someone who was going to buy more storage anyway.
With 128GB internally, you’re going to have well over 100GB of free space after your first start-up and installation of your typical apps. That’s a lot of space for Netflix downloads, big games, countless photos, 4K video shooting, and more. Even if you’re pushing the limits of your 64GB phone today, there’s a good chance you’re going to be able to make it work with an additional 64GB — and remember you always have a microSD card slot for any future overflow. So if you’re in any way worried about the additional cost required to go up to 512GB, and fit into a 64GB phone currently, you should have no hesitations about getting the base model 128GB Note 9. Who should get 512GB?We can’t talk about the benefits of the extra storage before first addressing the price increase. In order to get 512GB of storage, you’ll pay $250 (or about 25 percent) more for your Note 9. That’s a significant increase on an already extremely expensive phone. It’s true that carrier and retailer financing programs can ease the burden of that extra price, but even on a 24-month payment plan we’re talking about moving from about $40 to $50 per month — it’s still a big jump.
However, if you can eat the cost, the higher-end Note 9 with 512GB of storage and 8GB of RAM is the ultimate expression of what the Galaxy Note line is all about: doing everything to the biggest extent possible. You’re encouraged to never say the word “never,” but it’s hard to see how you’d fill up 512GB of storage given today’s file sizes for apps, music, games, and video. Even if you throw out all thoughts of managing your storage in any way, and simply keep every single thing you download, you’d be hard-pressed to push the 512GB limit (and I’d recommend that if you are storing that much on your phone that you should have a robust backup system for keeping a copy of that data safe elsewhere). With 512GB internally, you can add another 512GB with a microSD card (albeit for about $280) to go full-on crazy mode and have 1TB of storage available. Even if you keep things reasonable with a 256GB card (for only about $60), that’s over 750GB of storage in your hand everywhere you go. With that kind of potential, and the knowledge that you’ll effectively never worry about how much storage you have left, if you can eat the extra cost it’s worth considering the big jump up to 512GB. More RAM is just a nice bonusLike some other phones, Samsung offers extra RAM in the model with increased storage — in this case, a jump up to 8GB from 6GB. Just like we’ve discussed regarding the OnePlus 6T’s extra RAM, we caution you against putting too much stock in what the extra memory can actually do for you.
Yes, the extra memory gives you more room when running dozens of apps at the same time, or when running several intensive apps in the DeX desktop interface while running others on the phone itself. However, the use cases where you’ll actually see a clear benefit between 6 and 8GB are minimal. With the base Galaxy Note 9 (and Galaxy S9+ as well) coming with 6GB of RAM, Samsung is designing all of its software for devices that have that memory size — it isn’t going to build things to expect 8GB of RAM, because a large majority of people won’t actually have that much. Your choice to buy a higher-model Note 9 should start and end with a decision on whether you value having 512GB of storage at $250. The extra RAM is a nice bit of futureproofing — and bragging rights — but nothing more, and shouldn’t be a deciding factor for whether you make the jump to the higher model. Our pickSamsung Galaxy Note 9 (128GB)This is plenty of storage for most people The Note 9’s default storage is already double what most other phones offer, making 128GB more than enough for most people. The 512GB option is enticing, but considering the extra cost and the phone’s microSD card slot, it’s not really worth it.
via Tumblr Is it worth it to splurge for 512GB on the Note 9? Energy drink brand Vitaminwater has launched a contest with a $100,000 prize for a person who doesn’t use their smartphone for a year. Vitaminwater will select one person to take on the “scroll-free for a year” challenge after receiving applications until Jan. 8, 2019. Folks can apply via Twitter or Instagram by sharing the contest with the hashtags #nophoneforayear and #contest. Applicants must also include a description of what they would do for the year without phone access. Vitaminwater will pick the best application post based on several criteria — it’s not a random decision, so be sure to read what it’s looking for in the official rules if you intend to apply. You can see the types of posts people are already creating on Twitter here.
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Applicants must use a smartphone on a daily basis prior to entering (you can’t enter if you don’t own a phone) and must be 18-years-old and over. Vitaminwater also forbids those who use a smartphone for “work or other commitments.” It’s open to US residents only.
Editor’s Pick
Both smartphones and tablets are prohibited during the contest, and even touching a smartphone (yours or another person’s) could result in disqualification. Laptops and smart home devices, like smart speakers, can still be used, however. How does Vitaminwater verify the claim?Vitaminwater is light on details regarding how it will monitor the potential winner’s phone usage during the year they undertake the challenge. Around January 22, Vitaminwater says it will reach out to the potential winner to do a background check. Presumably, this is to ensure they’ve been using their device regularly and that ditching it would not interfere with work. The person will then sign the contract to participate and… well, it’s not clear what happens next. We don’t know if the person will be tracked or checked in some way; however, the rules do state that there will be “lie-detector test” at the end of the period. Oh, and one more detail — if you can only go six months without touching a phone, but have otherwise met all the criteria, you’ll receive $10,000 instead of the $100,000 total. Could you go smartphone-free for a year? The competition is based on a question that you may have asked yourself at some point. Smartphones are so ingrained in our lives now that the thought of giving them up seems like a mammoth task. The thing is, there are ways you could get around the most challenging aspects of this. For example, there are numerous messaging services that work between laptop/desktop and smartphone now, so it wouldn’t mean your friends and family have to revert to a different system to contact you. Further, the rules state that a “1996-era cellular telephone” can be used for communication during the time, meaning you’re not necessarily in any greater danger (if you carry a smartphone for emergencies). Considering this, and if you are to let all friends and family know you don’t have your smartphone for the period, it doesn’t seem like such a big ask. And $100,000 is a super prize. You can view all the competition rules here and let me know in the comments what your thoughts on the challenge are. Could you give up your phone for a year for $100k? This competition might be for you syndicated from https://guestspysite.wordpress.com/ via Tumblr Could you give up your phone for a year for $100k? This competition might be for you It’s no secret that the Pixel 3 is one of the most capable phones when it comes to mobile photography, largely thanks to Google’s computational data. Even with just one rear lens, it takes stunning photos in almost any condition, but you can always add to the phone to make it even more versatile, whether that’s with additional lenses or stabilization devices. Attach extra lensesMoment Photo CaseMoment is the biggest name in mobile photography accessories, and for good reason. Its cases allow you to attach small interchangeable lenses (also made by Moment) to your phone, altering and expanding its camera’s capabilities. They’re pretty good protective cases too, and as an added bonus they look fantastic. You can grab a Moment Photo Case for the Pixel 3 or 3 XL in either black, tan, or my personal favorite, walnut. Wide angle front and backMoment Wide 18mm LensThe Moment Photo Case won’t get you far on its own; you’ll need a compatible lens, like this 18mm wide-angle lens. It’s great that the Pixel 3 has a wide secondary camera for taking group selfies, but wide-angle lenses are good for way more than just selfies. It’s one more thing to carry around with your phone, but Moment at least includes a microfiber bag to make it easier to tote around on your keychain. Stable videoDJI Osmo Mobile 2This list is mostly centered around photography, but if you want to enhance the video side of things, a gimbal is a must-have. DJI’s Osmo Mobile 2 is a great, inexpensive mobile gimbal that stabilizes your Pixel 3 for ultra-smooth video, even if you’re walking around. It’s small enough to fit in a backpack and can last for up to 15 hours on a single charge so that you’re never caught with a dead battery. Cheaper alternative to MomentOlloclip Wide-Angle + Macro Intro LensesMoment’s attachable lenses are great, but they’re also pretty expensive. Thankfully, Olloclip offers an alternative in the form of a universal clip that attaches to your Pixel 3 with (or without) whatever case you like. With the intro kit, you get the multi-device clip itself, along with two lenses to swap between — one a wide-angle and the other a macro lens. This is one of the most cost-effective ways to start shooting with more versatility. A tripod for anywhereJoby GripTight Gorillapod ProGorillapods have long been known as the de facto mobile tripod built for versatility above all else. The GripTight Gorillapod Pro holds a Pixel 3 or 3 XL, and with its extremely flexible legs, you can mount it on virtually any surface. Whether there’s a table handy or nothing but a low-handing tree branch, a Gorillapod makes it easy to prop your phone up for your next vlog or large group selfie. Whether you’re looking to change up your shot with a different lens or simply add some stability for cleaner photos and videos, there are plenty of ways to enhance your Pixel 3’s camera. If you can afford it, Moment’s Photo Case (along with a good lens or two) is one of the most highly rated photo accessories on the market, and can make your Pixel 3’s camera truly shine.
